Accounting Specialist

We are recruiting for a top-performing Accounting Specialist who will manage several accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), organizational policies and procedures, and external federal, state, local and funder legal and regulatory requirements. The accounting activities will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow projections, payroll, budgeting, tax, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. The Accounting Specialist will work closely with staff across the entire organization. The Accounting Specialist will report to the Executive Director.

Community Health Program Manager

The AAAWLC announces a Community Health Program Manager (PM) position that will oversee Program Staff and program services for the AAAWLC’s Community Health Program. The PM will monitor the program implementation, evaluation, and serve as a liaison for the organization. The PM is responsible for coaching and developing a team, managing project subcontractors, and managing project budgets. The PM will have experience developing programs, facilitating trainings, and building coalitions and partnerships. The PM will assist the Executive Director in securing additional funding to sustain and expand programs. The PM is expected to have their own transportation and vehicle insurance, must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, proficiently use a computer, email and internet-based applications. Fiscal reporting experience, budget management, grant writing, and nonprofit experience is required.

Youth Policy and Resource Specialist

The Youth Policy and Resource Specialist (YPRS) is responsible for supporting the Program Manager in implementing the program work plans, tracking program activities, grant reporting, and assisting with some grant writing. The YPRS will work directly with system-impacted youth and families to navigate available resources needed to promote better health outcomes for youth and their families. These services and resources may include but are not limited to mental health treatment, substance use treatment, educational support, legal support, as well as victim witness application support. The YPRS will also be required to research and draft policies that address Black youth mental health in juvenile justice.
