Together Toward Health (TTH) is supporting California’s response to COVID-19 and reduce inequities in highly impacted communities. TTH is committed to ensuring the broad cultural and socio-demographic diversity of California is reflected in the community-based partners that have experience engaging with disproportionately impacted communities. We are seeking members to serve on-site or remote with the community-based organization Amelia Ann Adams Whole Life Center (AAAWLC) in Stockton, CA. AAAWLC connects families to resources and addresses the barriers to families living a resilient life.

BYPBP Program Manager
AAAWLC announces a Program Manager (PM) position for the Black Youth Protecting Black Peace Project. The PM will oversee the Youth Development Policy Specialist, volunteers, and evaluation contractors. The PM will be responsible for program design, project and budget management, and serve as a liaison for the organization. The PM should have experience working with the target population and cultural settings and develop an advisory committee to support the project. The PM will lead the policy and advocacy work at the city and county levels, and develop the project’s sustainability plan. Fiscal reporting experience, budget management, grant writing, and nonprofit experience is required.

AAAWLC announces an Outreach Specialist (OS) position that will support the Program Manager, partners, and volunteers in implementing the AAAWLC SistaCoach and Thought Partner Program. The OS will outreach to enroll African American/Black mothers to participate in the SistaCoach program. The OS will provide trauma-informed case management, coordinate events/activities, and lead healing circles/groups. The OS will outreach to residents in San Joaquin County to enroll residents in the Thought Partner Program.

Youth Policy Specialist
The Amelia Ann Adams Whole Life Center announces a Youth Policy Specialist (YPS) position for the Black Youth Protecting Black Peace Project. The YPS will build relationships with partners and youth to listen, learn, and support youth in bringing about the change they want to see. The YPS will be responsible for the development of policies to support Black youth mental health with faith-based organizations, community based organizations and schools. The YPS will lead and develop youth trainings, listening sessions, community organizing, and educational campaigns.
