Girls Loving Our Worth (G.L.O.W.) is a program that provides mentoring and supports at-risk girls on their campuses in partnership with the support of campus leadership and stakeholders. Local community and businesswomen in Stockton work together and engage with each young lady to provide a message of empowerment and love that will lead them to work and move toward a brighter future.
The G.L.O.W. Program is currently at Stagg High School and Chavez High School.
2019 Equity on the Mall
Equity on the Mall is an annual day of democracy in action to close the divide between the San Joaquin Valley residents and policymakers. Organized by the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund, The Center at Sierra Health Foundation and community partners, Equity on the Mall includes a powerful program at the west steps of the Capitol with remarks by elected representatives and community leaders, music, spoken word and an equity platform on some of the most pressing issues impacting communities in the San Joaquin Valley.
2019 G.L.O.W. Conference
The GLOW conference is a day full of empowerment and inspiration. The conference offers community building through peer to peer experiences while being surrounded by and supported by local women who believe in their ability to succeed. Participants returned to school inspired and with a greater understanding of the importance of succeeding in high school.
