How are we accomplishing this goal?

  • Out-of-the-Box Events: We host innovative and culturally enriching events that encourage healing and foster self-empowerment.

  • Biweekly Youth Meetings: These sessions provide hands-on educational training that equips youth with the     tools to lead in their communities.

  • Safe Spaces: Youth Protectors gather in a supportive environment where they can learn, socialize, and build connections with peers.

  • Youth-Led Advocacy: Participants are encouraged to shape policy changes in San Joaquin County, creating safer and more equitable systems, including reforms in the Juvenile Justice Program.

  • Community Engagement: Our youth attend school board meetings, city hall discussions, and community forums to advocate for policies that protect the peace of Black youth.
